Cracked
POEM

i want to crack you open like
a pomegranate dissecting your sweet flesh
bearing pale gems in each crevice
deep enough to swim & smooth enough to sip until
i forget the color of my room or the size of this couch
fruit between the cushions of my palm, inside
hollow enough to hear my name repeated back to me
until each hair rises and lifts like fissure
on the wall, collecting dust to dip
your fingertips & taste, only to miss the sweet moisture
of my mouth my hand frees itself from under my belt
as i exhale enough air for two
one husk
sliced open, bearing seedless walls of
dry spongemore poems where that came from ⤵

Delicious language, I love this!
Loved the intimacy of it and I love how you made it sound so breathless in a good way, like words between gentle kisses
